Sometimes I can be so focused on finding the right home for my client and giving them a seamless experience, I overlook what happens when the deal is done. Then a lovely testimonial arrives and makes my heart full.
My favourite client experience was about 5 years ago, when I was working with a buyer. We were in a multiple offer situation, with ten competing offers on the table. I knew we needed a unique strategy, so I told my buyers to study the home carefully during the next day’s open house and to write a genuine, heartfelt letter that showed they would cherish the home.
The buyer took my advice and they won the bid. Ironically, they were the lowest out of ten offers. But the letter meant so much to the seller that she just couldn’t sell to anyone else.
